Dr. Johnsen received a subaward from NHLBI for her continued project to modernize blood group testing with simple, fast, fully automated multiplexed blood group testing in small volume blood samples using silicon photonic blood typing chips.

Dr. Jill has been awarded funds by Octapharma to study postpartum bleeding in women with von Willebrand Disease when VWF levels are at least 100% during delivery and the immediate postpartum period.
