DO YOU WANT TO HELP SCIENTISTS ACCELERATE THEIR SEARCH TO UNLOCK THE CURES AND EFFECTIVE TREATMENT FOR A DISEASE THAT AFFECTS YOU, TOO?

Bloodworks Northwest is partnering with a research study into sickle cell disease. Your blood donation will provide medical researchers with critical information used to advance the development of potentially lifesaving and life-changing therapies and treatments for people affected by sickle cell disease. Participation in this program is not a treatment for your disease, and it will not result in any direct health benefit.

DONATION IS JUST 3 EASY STEPS:

  1. Screening interview—to qualify you as a donor
  2. Schedule an appointment
  3. Donate

Once qualified as a donor, you may be invited to donate multiple times.
Reimbursement is provided for your time and availability.

With more than 70 years of Northwest history sustaining the community blood supply, donors are assured that their donations will be safely performed by our knowledgeable staff under the direction of a physician, and meeting the highest regulatory standards.

DONATIONS ARE COLLECTED AT:

  1. 921 Terry Ave, Seattle, WA 98104
  2. 1551 Eastlake Ave E, Seattle, WA 98102
